Create and Delete Server Sets

    Sets are used to associate fonts into logical groups for easy assignment of distribution and licensing specifications. You can use server sets to group fonts by foundry, license, designer, classification, project, client, team, department—whatever your workflow requires.

    Using the Sets Panel

    To manage server sets, you must first launch the FontAgent® Server Manager. You must also have been granted permissions to manage sets on the server.

    To manage the contents of FontAgent Server sets, follow these steps:

    1. Click the Sets tab in the Sidebar. A list of server sets appear in the top pane of the Server Manager window.
    2. Select the set to be modified from the list of server sets. You can use the Filter Sets field at the top-right of the pane to help find the right set.
    3. The selected set’s details appear in the bottom pane of the Server Manager.

    Modifying Server Set Info

    To edit the a set’s descriptive information, follow these steps:

    1. Click the Info tab.
    2. Edit the Set Name and Description.
    3. Click the Save button at the top of the Info panel.

    When you change the Set Name or Description, FontAgent Server distributes those changes to users of that set the next time they sync with the server.

    Deleting a Server Set

    To delete a server set, follow these steps:

    1. Locate the server set to be deleted from the list of server sets. You can use the Filter Sets field at the top-right of the pane to help find the right set.
    2. Click the Delete button on the right side of the set’s name.
    3. A confirmation dialog appears. Click Yes to delete the set.
