When you add new users to your FontAgent® Server, they receive an email inviting them to download their client software and register with the server.
Download Client Software
After receiving an email invitation to join FontAgent Server, users click a link in the email to download the FontAgent client application. Mac users then double-click the downloaded FontAgent disk image to open it. Windows users run the FontAgent installer.
Install and Configure Client Software
To install client software on their computer, users can double-click the FontAgent installer and follow its instructions.
After installing FontAgent Connected Client software, users follow these steps to get started:
- Click the link provided in the the FontAgent Server invitation email to proceed to account setup.
- Specify and confirm a password for connecting to the server, and click Save Changes.
- Click OK on the confirmation dialog and the FontAgent client launches.
- FontAgent will automatically open a Register window. The users’ email address and password will already be displayed.
- Click the Register button to complete the account setup process.
After the user successfully registers their software, the FontAgent Connected Client application launches. The client software provides its own documentation from the application’s Help menu.
