User Details and Permissions

    To manage users and their associated permissions, you must first launch the FontAgent® Server Manager.

    Using The Users Panel

    To manage details for a FontAgent Server user, follow these steps:

    1. Click the Users tab in the Sidebar. A list of server users appears in the top pane of the Server Manager.
    2. Select the user to modified from the list of server users. You can use the Filter Users field at the top-right of the pane to help find the right user.
    3. The selected user’s details appear in the bottom pane of the Server Manager.

    Modifying User Details

    To edit the a user’s descriptive details, follow these steps:

    1. Click the Info tab and edit the user’s name and email details.
    2. Click the Save button at the top of the Info panel.
    3. Click the Invite button to send an email invitation to the user to join the server.

    User Permissions

    To grant permissions to a user, follow these steps:

    1. Click the Users tab to view permissions that have been assigned to the user.
    2. Check which permissions are to be assigned to the user.
    3. Click the Save button.

    By default, all new users created are given no elevated privileges.

    View Font Usage by Selected User

    Click the Font Usage tab to view a list of server fonts that have been assigned to the user.
